UV Light
UV light works to tan by the way it affects the melanin in our skin. Melanin is a pigment in our skin
produced by cells called melanocytes and is what gives our skin its color. UVA rays cause a tan by
oxidizing the melanin, making it darker.

Red Light
Collagen red light therapy that uses red light at 633nm to stimulate collagen production in the skin.
Collagen is a protein that gives skin its structure, strength and elasticity. As we age, our collagen levels
decrease, leading to wrinkles, sagging and other signs of aging. Collagen red light therapy may help
improve skin appearance by increasing collagen synthesis, blood circulation and reducing inflammation
What is the difference between UV light and Collagen light?
-
UV light is used for tanning the skin.
-
UV light is used for producing vitamin D.
-
Collagen light is used for the production of collagen and elastin.
-
Collagen light is used to provide young, flexible and resilient skin.
What are Collagen Lamps?
The best of both worlds! A new technology that combines UV and Collagen light. Within the UV
spectrum, special attention is paid to UVB light, as it optimizes the natural production of vitamin D. The
red light also ensures good circulation in the skin, giving the skin a beautiful and natural tan.
So, by combining both lamps, you can obtain a tan, and the production of vitamin D, collagen,
and elastin all in one lamp.
